JOIN THE MOVEMENT

Laymen Ministries has been involved with overseas mission projects since 1991. Right after the fall of Communism we travelled all over Eastern Europe exploring how we could help these former Communist countries expand their need for Understand Christ. We did some projects in some countries where our short-term mission there was complete and we moved on to other countries. Places like Bulgaria, where we printed and shipped over some 1.2 million pieces of Christian booklets, tracks, and Bible lessons. I Albania we worked with Heads of State to translate and print 1.4 million tracts, booklets and the very first Bible lessons every produced for this former hardline Communist country. We helped establish a Christian Publishing house in Poland which is still in operation today. 

In the late 1990s we started a Student Missionary program, placing college aged youth in places like the Philippines teaching school with a remote indigenous tribe. That project is still in full swing. We have had youth from American, Venezuela, Brazil, Germany, South Africa, Austria, and Australia be involved with our programs. Laymen Ministries has also used adult missionaries from various countries around the world to help with our various projects.
