In 1852 James White expressed a need for a paper for the youth in the church. In the summer of that year, a monthly magazine entitled The Youth’s Instructor was launched. For several years, this paper served a wide range of youth in the Adventist church. In 1879 the paper changed to a four-page weekly issue, and was published in this format until 1970, varying in size from 4 to 32 pages per issue. During her lifetime Ellen White wrote about 470 articles for The Youth’s Instructor.

These articles, from 1852 – 1914, are compiled in facsimile format, and published in one sturdy hardback volume of 640 pages. The original copies used for this reproduction may contain various markings, especially those indicating portions that have been included in various printed volumes, and type imperfections.

Hardbound, 640 pages, with dust jacket.
