The only one of God’s 10 Commandments that he said, “Remember...,” and it’s the one most of the world has forgotten. Several reasons are given for bringing God’s day, which He set aside as a special time to spend with His beloved people, back to our remembrance. It was given to us from Creation, it was written by God’s own hand in the 10 Commandments, and it was kept by Jesus while He lived on this earth. A brief history of Sunday worship is also explored, and the call given to bring our priorities back in line with the Lord’s. With that in mind, some simple guidelines are also shared to help one keep the Sabbath in a restful, enjoyable, faith-building way.
