We may be encouraged by those who triumphed, learn from the mistakes of others, and hopefully be spared the heartahces of those who made unwise choices. While the Bible gives us the barest sketches of the exploits, failures, and successes of the characters it portrays, the pen of Ellen White broadens and deepens the view. With sensitivity and divine insight, she provides relevant lessons from the lives of our heroes from sacred history.
