Donation for Youth in Missions

Over the years, Laymen Ministries has been involved with getting young adults involved with missions. It began with sending young people to Lithuania to train Lithuanian youth how to sell books door to door. We saw the effect that longer-term missions had on these young adults. And soon we began to expand the whole idea involving young missionaries.

While Laymen Ministries has primarily focused on indigenous ministry and evangelism, we have found that in the area of education, “foreign” missionaries are an extremely valuable tool to increase the progress of students in our indigenous church schools. In the Philippines, we have 4 to 8 young adults each year involved with teaching in the jungle villages on the northern island of Occidental Mindoro. We are in need of missionaries to commit about 9 months of their lives to an experience that will change them forever. We need these volunteers as much as we need funding!
