Apples of Gold Library #58, by E. J. Waggoner
Explores true Sabbath keeping. There is the Sabbath of the Lord, in which one finds rest from sin, which is gained by faith in our Creator and Savior. Then there is the “Jewish Sabbath,” which is the observance of the seventh day of the week as a day to cease from work and even to worship. And finally, there is the “Papal Sabbath,” which signifies the substitution of man’s work for God’s work. Each is distinct and different, but only one is true. An excellent, simply put and reasonable, scriptural description of the Sabbath issue.
These tracts, by Ellen White and other of the Advent pioneers, were first published between 1893 and 1905 by Pacific Press. They are excellent for your own study or for sharing. These little jewels have been re-typeset into nice little booklets that fit easily into pocket, purse, or mailing envelope. They are useful in literature racks, literature evangelism, and personal witnessing.
