This is the complete 3-program series, now on 1 DVD!
Program #1 Jeff Reich tells about his former life as an agnostic and a rock musician. At one time he said, “I will NEVER be a Christian!” And he meant it! Things took an unusual turn of events. From the occult, drugs, and searching out various world “religions,” he and God embark on an amazing spiritual journey which took him from those days to the Director of Laymen Ministries. This is a very good witnessing tool to share with friends or family who may not be as close to God as they could be, or are struggling with drugs, alcohol or other spiritual problems. (55 minutes.)
Program #2 Jeff Reich continues the story of his and his wife, Christy’s journey with God. There is an amazing encounter with an unknown person (or angel) which caused a serious turn of events. Selling everything they have, Jeff and Christy make a radical move to the remote mountains of North Idaho. With willing hands, dedicated hearts, and only the resources of a keg of used nails, limited funds, a camper, a 1937 Ford Classic and an Alaskan chainsaw mill, they carved out a home and began a ministry that later became know as Laymen Ministries. They lived with no electricity or running water for years! It is the beginning of a true adventure!
This presentation is on the blessings of country living and how when we commit ourselves to God, doing best of our ability as the Lord would have, He will bless us. There will be challenges and trials, but He is our Provider and Sustainer. Excellent encouragement to take that leap of faith! (About 1 hour.)
Program #3 the question is posed: What does a bottle of whiskey, getting a new pastor, and church politics have to do with how Laymen Ministries started? Watch and find out! Where the rubber meets the road in our relationship with Christ is how we deal with the “problem people” in our lives and “church” issues. The answer isn’t always “being right — but being.” This program is about building relationships. About being supportive and loving. About standing for Truth in the right way, discovering common ground, and then finding that both sides of those on an issue can learn something from the other. (About 55 minutes.)
