This is the only devotional by Ellen White that is exclusively devoted to the subject of Bible doctrines. Providing both inspiration and information, each month focuses on a different topic. The daily readings are selections from Ellen White’s previously published and unpublished writings that relate to the basic truths of Scripture. The book is extensively indexed, with Scriptural, topical, and outline indexes.
The principal doctrines of the Christian faith, supported by carefully chosen texts of Scripture and Spirit of Prophecy statements, are presented, not as theological pronouncements, but as spiritual truths relating to the work of redemption wrought out for us by Jesus Christ. Scriptures are presented as the basic authority. The Bible speaks out on behalf of the foundation truths.
